Winnipeg Public Library will allow some organizations to have passive, information tables in locations where space permits. Requesting organizations must be a service-based registered Non-Profit Organization or a Registered Charity whose main purpose is to serve: newcomers, seniors or youth, persons who are homeless, persons with disabilities, LGBTQ+, Indigenous peoples or mental health/basic needs organizations (e.g. mental health organization or a shelter). A table and chair is provided and activity is limited to passive information only. Library customers cannot be approached or intercepted and fundraising, solicitation, petitions and sales are not permitted. Contact the branch of interest for further details and for permissions.
