Library Access

There will be no street-level access to Millennium Library during Whiteout Party preparation and cleanup.

To accommodate the Winnipeg Whiteout Street Party, along with associated set-up and take-down, the streets around Millennium Library will be closed during the following times:

  • 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 18 until 6:30 a.m. on Friday, April 19

Access to Millennium Library will be via skywalk or parkade ONLY during those hours.

Parkade access will be via Smith St. during the closures; Donald Street entrance to and exit from the Millennium Library Parkade will not be accessible. The stairwell doors at street level to the parkade will be locked at 10:30 a.m. on April 18th, and entrance to the parkade will be accessible only through the skywalk during this time.

No. Millennium Library closes 30 minutes before the Street Parties begin.
