Answer
You can borrow up to 100 physical items at a time (exceptions apply for Limited, VIP and Corporate card holders).
There are limits on how many items you can borrow from specific collections (e.g. magazines, DVDs, etc); exact details are listed in our Membership Guide / Guide destiné aux membres.
All physical items borrowed from the library (books, magazines, CDs) count toward the total of 100 items. eBooks, eMagazines and other downloadable media do not count toward this total. This table outlines the borrowing limits for these services:

Find Libby confusing and recently discovered by chance you can borrow magazines. Think I saw something while downloading that said they don't have to be returned and can stay on your reader permanently but of course I can't find that again and in the library app they show up with a return date so which version is correct? While I'm typing this on my phone in a really tiny font I'm wondering why none of the WPL website pages are phone friendly? Are we all supposed to use a PC to interact with you folks? 🤔by B Ookman on Jan 06, 2025
