Most items may be borrowed for a period of three weeks. For all loan periods, check our Membership Guide / Guide destiné aux membres.


The following options are available for tracking due dates:


Due Date Slip

  • You can receive a due date slip when you check out that lists all items checked out and the due dates of those items
  • If you have other items previously checked out, ask staff for an updated due date slip at any time


Online Account

  • You can access My Account online to see what items have been checked out to your account and when they are due
  • You can also use the Library’s mobile app, free to download from your device’s app store
  • You will need your library card number and PIN to use My Account and WPL's mobile app


By Phone

  • You can also call the Library's telephone messaging system (TeleMessaging) at 204-986-4657 (within Winnipeg) or 1-866-826-4454 (outside Winnipeg, no charge)
  • Follow the prompts to list items and their due dates
  • You will need your library card number to access the service
