The Smartlocker is a locker system that allows customers the flexibility to pick up holds from a locker instead of from within the library. Some Smartlocker locations allow customers to pick up their holds even when the library is closed.
What branches have Smartlockers?
We currently have four Smartlockers:
Harvey Smith (West End) Library, in the Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex
Osborne Library, in the Fort Rouge Leisure Centre
Millennium Library, in the 2nd floor skywalk
Transcona Library, in the front lobby
How do I send my holds to a Smartlocker?
Choose the Harvey Smith (West End), Osborne or Millennium Smartlocker as your pickup location when placing holds. To select an accessible locker (the lower lockers) customers can select the accessible option when placing a hold.

Winnipeg Public Library Smartlockers offer a convenient choice for holds pickup. Due to the extreme popularity of the Smartlockers this can mean a longer wait time for library materials. Customers may choose to pick up their holds inside the library to shorten wait times.
