The library has purchased access to PressReader for our library customers. Anyone visiting our library branches in person is welcome to use PressReader for free on our library computers without logging in or creating a PressReader account.
If you want to connect to PressReader outside of the library, you will need an active library barcode and PIN. This information shows PressReader that you are a current library customer. We call this logging in with your Library Account.
A PressReader Account differs from your library account in that it is an online account that lets you create a personalized PressReader experience.*Logging in to your PressReader account is a second step that comes after logging in with your Library Account.
Creating a PressReader Account is required when using the PressReader app because that is the only way for the PressReader app to know that you are a current WPL customer. If the app does not associate you with WPL, you will be seen as an individual PressReader subscriber and be asked to pay for newspapers and magazines that you are interested in downloading.
