What story time programming do you offer?

Winnipeg Public Library offers four main pre-school story time programs designed by Library staff:

  • Baby Rhyme Time
  • Time for Twos
  • Pre-School Story Time
  • Family Story Time

Full program descriptions are listed on our For Parents and Caregivers guide.

When are programs offered and how do I register?

Pre-School Programs are offered in 8-week sessions, three times a year:

  • Fall Session (registration in early September)
  • Winter Session (Registration in early December)
  • Spring Session (Registration in early March)

Library branches may rotate the programs they offer. Registration is required (except for Family Story Time) and can be done over the phone or in-person at the hosting branch. Some programs fill up quickly; parents are encouraged to make note of the registration date for upcoming sessions and call early in order to avoid disappointment. Upcoming registration dates are always listed in our At the Library newsletter.
